Starting April 1, 2026, a new system will be implemented introducing the Traffic Violation Notification System (“Blue Ticket”) for certain bicycle traffic violations.

In September 2025, the National Police Agency released the Bicycle Rule Book, summarizing the basic traffic rules for bicycles and the fundamental approach to enforcement of traffic violations.
