This course follows National Route 55 heading south. There are many traffic lights along the way, so be mindful while riding.

National Route 55 has heavy traffic and frequent traffic lights, so stay alert while cycling.

Challenging Sections

South of Fukui Town in Anan City, Route 55 features a series of ups and downs and winding corners. Ride with caution through this section.

Highlights

The coastal scenery around Tachibana Bay, with its ocean views and scattered islands, is breathtaking.
With a short detour, you can also visit Cape Kamōda.
