Tokushima Prefecture promotes the “Bicycle Kingdom Tokushima” brand nationwide and encourages the spread of cycle sports by offering 25 cycling courses tailored to various features and skill levels across the prefecture. We distribute course maps and host cycling events utilizing these routes.
This time, we will hold a leisurely pottering tour by bicycle, featuring a visit to the Awa Jurobe Yashiki residence, a performance of Ningyo Joruri (traditional puppet theater), and a scenic water taxi ride.

1 Date & Time: Saturday, May 28, 2022 10:00 AM – 3:45 PM (end time subject to change)
2 Meeting & Starting Point: Behind Ryogoku Bridge Police Box – Traffic Park (74-2 Minami-Uchimachi 1-chome, Tokushima City)
3 Course: Meet at Traffic Park behind Ryogoku Bridge Police Box → Pottering around Tokushima City → Awa Shirasagi Bridge → Pottering in Kawauchi Town → Lunch at Jurobe Restaurant → Tour of Awa Jurobe Yashiki → Ningyo Joruri Puppet Theater performance → Water taxi transfer (with bicycles) → Disband at Ryogoku Bridge boat dock
4. Capacity
10 participants (first-come, first-served)
※ Advance registration only. No same-day registration.
※ Junior high school students and older
※ Please bring your own hydration and necessary items.
5 Participation Fee:
¥500 (includes bicycle rental, guide fee, and insurance)
Additional costs: Water taxi fare (¥1,000), Ningyo Joruri admission (¥410), lunch (approx. ¥1,000)
Souvenirs and miscellaneous items are to be paid individually on-site.
